Monika Zikri aka Asterisk discovered the sound of drum & bass while studying in Seattle. She moved to Seattle after high school to obtain her bachelors degree in Finance. It wasn't until she moved to Portland, she then pursuit her dream in drum & bass life. While in Portland, the Indonesian native was resident at club Ohm for Crush:ed Drum & Bass for two years, played at KPSU 98.3 FM radio every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month as well as performing at numerous events in the Northwest.
Now residing in Los Angeles, she had been invited to play at several parties and drum & bass weeklies while maintaining a drum & bass Internet radio in Los Angeles as well as building recognition is a continuous effort to achieve her dream.
